ITV 3 are screening the Amanda Burton version of Pollyanna on Saturday 3rd January in the afternoon! If you wish to see the original to compare then ITV1 are screening that today (1st January) at lunch time!

I would like to take the chance to wish everyone a very "Merry Christmas & Happy New Year" to all my readers and supporters of my Amanda Burton Fansite. It's been a strange year but starting this project was something I was determined to stick at and I am really pleased with all the positive feedback I have received from people! I hope through 2009 I’ll keep up the project and aim to add more content! Let’s hope it’s a great year to see Amanda doing some more TV things!

Finally some 2 and half years after it was made ITV1 are going to be showing Marple Nemesis. It's being screened on New Year's Day ITV1 at 9pm!

Amanda sucessfully completed the Great North Run in 3 Hours 5 Minutes 37 Seconds - a fantastic achievement! Overall she came 35314! You can catch a small two minute video clipheretaken from BBC1 TV before the race started!
Amanda will be runnng theGreat North Runthis coming weekend, Sunday 5th October 2008! The event will be broadcast live on BBC 1 from 9.30am! It will be the second time Amanda has took part in the charity run, the last time was back in 2006! You can sponser Amanda alsohere!Good luck Amanda!

ITV3 are hosting a Crime Thriller Awards Season, Lynda La Plante is up for an award and you can vote for herhere!As part of the season, there is a documentry on Lynda being screen on ITV3 throughout the week of 22nd September in which you can see parts of the new commander being filmed! Finally The Commander - Virus will be screened on ITV3 on Friday 26th September at 10pm!
